The project was developed during my Master's program in the Interaction Design course.
The objective of the project was to explore the parent-child relationship during car trips and identify opportunities to enhance the experience through the creation of physical and digital products.
Initially, a research phase was conducted through desk research, an online survey, and intercept interviews with both parents and children. This phase highlighted moments of conflict arising from the differing needs and desires that parents and children express during car journeys.
Following this, a market research study mapped the advantages and drawbacks of products and strategies that parents and children use to pass the time and make the trip more pleasant. This allowed us to define the focus area for our product-service.

By creating personas for both parents and children and outlining the customer journey, we identified key intervention points. Our target audience was defined as children aged 4 to 8 years old, who require greater engagement from parents, seek stimulation through constructive activities, and desire tactile and visual interaction.
